Dline played good again. A good sign that maybe they are going to be consistent.

Corey White and Marquise Johnson should be 4 & 5 in CB depth.

Akiem Hicks needs time with the 1s. He stood out in the 2s.

Junyeah will be a contributor this season.

Canfield is still garbage.

Roby wants a roster spot. So does Tanner. Not sure about Morgan. He has been very inconsistent.

Ivory still runs hard. Needs some more carries.

Lofton will make the pro bowl. I think chamberlain and Casillas played well also.

into the backs of his offensive lineman. I want to see more of Cadet.

Cadet has a lot of work to do if he wants to take Ivory's roster spot.

Ivory and Cadet's skill sets are not redundant. This will help Ivory, imo. When Ivory is on his game, there is probably not a more punishing runner in the league.

Hopefully in the next 3 weeks, Ivory gets back to his normal self. Cadet plays similar to how PT did in 2007, but doesn't seem to have IT so far. I will certainly need to see more from him.

What about the Offense? Heard it was kind of flat as opposed to the other night against the Cards?

I like Ivory, but he is going to be consistently injured if he doesn't learn to avoid tacklers. I enjoy watching defenders get trucked as much as the next guy, but as an NFL running back on a team that has been injury prone at that position, you can't go out of your way just to bulldoze someone.

Didn't he break the most tackles in the NFL in 2010 while not even playing in a lot of the games?

Edit: LINK

highest rate at 19.6%. When he's healthy, he is a bulldozer

I have no clue but that doesn't make him the most punishing runner in the NFL. That's laughable.

the defense has done a nice job of tackling so far.

I'm glad that the D-line is looking better but NE was kinda banged up on their O-line. Arizona doesn't really have a good O-line at all, especially at tackle. Mayock made a few comments about that last Sunday. I don't want to get too excited about the D-line just yet but they have come out playing better, that is the bottom line.

I think breaking tackles would be a pretty good indication. He was flat out embarrassing people that year

Just don't think its the only factor in making someone the most punishing rusher in the NFL. Its a nice stat and all but its not the end all be all. I think there are guys lower than him that are more punishing. Like Turner, Lynch, Blount...

Absolutely. One of the most pleasing things to see so far. Formed, correct tackles.

exactly...the guy is talented but probably wont make it thru the preseason without getting hurt.

Hicks will demand a double team. I don't think a OG or Center can block him one on one. He consistantly was pushing the double team backwards.

I like Ivory, but if he's punishing defenders while only picking up 2-3 yards, he needs to try something different.
