Two realistic scenarios could be:
1. We're keeping Gillikin on active roster to sub at K or P if Lutz or Morstead go down with Covid
2. We're waiting on everyone else to settle on specialists before we waive Gillikin, then sign him to practice squad

Well flat bill Chad is gonna have to wait for his little fantasy. The saints like the new kid enough that they didn’t waive him. This is a notorious Payton move that he’s done for over a decade. If he was gonna switch to the new kid Payton would of already traded or released TM. Payton will wait till the last moment and release Gill in hopes he makes it to our practice squad.
