This a smokescreen for a team that overvalues a QB to trade into the top 10, so a player we do want has better chance of falling to #9. In a normal NFL front office that trade partner would be us, but we really don't do the expected or rational thing in the 1st round.

Yeah, I think he told some random pga golfer they were going to take Mahomes as well and invited him to the war room on draft night. Might have been Kelly Gibson.

These guys get paid to say nothing. He said the saints could take a qb. Or not. Or they may trade down. Or not. These talking heads just have air space to fill.
