Seems like a lot of boots on the ground for a guy you’d have to make a major move for.

We getting a qb or trying to make someone jump us

Could be a reverse Mahomes situation where we let everyone know we wanted Mahomes and actually did, and someone jumped us.

Sorry not enough caffeine this morning. Ward is going to go first or second I’d assume at worst in the draft. How does having someone else further down jump us to take him first or second help? Still likely to be the same amount of prospects picked in front of us including Ward.

I'm still trying to figure this out myself.

Bc we're tying ourselves to like every qb. If you want ward, sanders, or dart, seems like you better get ahead of us

So we’re doing this all to get one team to move ahead of us for Dart?
Just seems like two of these guys will pretty clearly be gone.

Maybe they are. Maybe they aren't. But if one of is there around pick 7 or someone does want dart, they better move ahead of Us.

So by this logic Ewers is going top 10 now.

40th most likely if we don't go qb at 9

If a GM makes such a decision then he isn't going to be a GM much longer. That's 2017 Ryan Pace territory all over again.

People that do this for a living have mocked dart to us at 9. I think dart can be what nix is

Only person has done so. So no, not people just one person.

There's literally another thread on the first page where mcshay says dart can go top 10
Posted on 3/24/25 at 12:36 pm to msstate7
Mel Kiper is the only person mocking Dart to the Saints. That's what that thread is about. Try again. I didn't know Saints Talk threads counted as mocks.

Why is this an issue/thread every year? Are these QBs the only ones participating in these Pro Days? Some teams like to talk to all of the top prospects, some like to see all top QBs, and when you have as many holes as the Saints have; it makes sense to have a huge presence at Pro Days that may generate a lot of draft picks
