We did like we always do, run the ball in the second and wear out defenses!
But the victory goes to the defense. They got a sack and a turnover against Favre and the Vikings. While holding Peterson to under 90 yards rushing, and the Vikings to under 100 yards rushing.

We should all be happy. The offense struggled a little but like another guy posted above, the OL took them to the woodshed in 2nd half and won the game on the ground at the end. The D was really good. Great teams find other ways to win.
Oh, and I think Favre's streak ends this year. He looks like his body is wearing down.

Only have 3 complaints from tonight and 2 aren't even that bad.
1st and foremost, is the poor 3rd down conversions. 3 of 11. We all know it was a poor offensive performance/questionable playcalling for the most part, but we can mainly attribute that to playing one of the leagues best defenses, and then say it was early in the season and we are not yet in full groove.
2nd and next to most is the extremely poor OLB play. At times it was good, meaning 3 or so plays, and those were all Shanle.
3rd was the blocking on special teams, we didn't give Reggie enough time but once that I can recall. But of course he went backwards lol

Has nothing to do with blocking. Their punter learned his lesson after that 2 punt return TDs performance 2 years ago.
He was doing his best directional Morstead and praying for the Gods of hang time to look upon him favorably.
