I had to look-
2013 on the Injury Report 9 games
2012 Injury Report 8 games
2011 Injury Report 11 games

Rotoworld blurbs are usually succinct analysis-
It doesn't look like Austin will even get a chance to stay via a pay cut. He's fully expected to be released as a post-June 1 cut, saving the Cowboys $5.5 million on a player who's been unable to sustain health or effectiveness since his 2009 breakout. Austin, who turns 30 in June, won't find a hot market after averaging just 3.8 catches for 52.9 yards with 20 touchdowns over the last four seasons.

Constantly battling hamstring injuries, Austin was a complete non-factor this season

Austin's contract has proven to be one of Jerry Jones' biggest blunders, and that's saying something. The Cowboys should have gotten rid of this mess last year.

He has a total of 131 catches for 1,744 yards with 13 touchdowns over the last three seasons while missing 11 games and being limited in countless others.

He's gotta be up there with Hamstring Stallworth in the perpetual injury zone

Only a 120 yard difference. Doesn't mean shite. Both have been in the league since 2006 and Colston has six 1000+ yard seasons and was only 57 yards away from his fifth season in a row this past year. Miles only has two, three if you count his 943 yard season.

During the last three seasons.

Colston's 3240 yards, 23 TD's >>>> Austin's 1766 yards, 13 TD's.

austin didn't do anything this past year and is on a huge decline.. and yes he was hurt, dealing with his crap.. but he played in 5 games and couldn't get more than 2 receptions.

no thanks.

not that it matters but just because it's nice to see.

colston vs austin

they both joined in 06

colston has 63 tds to his 34. and 8,337 yards to his 4,448 yards. austin has only had 3 good seasons and colston has been far more effective of recent. colston was definitely probowl worthy in 07. and colston was fringe probowl 2 out of the past 3 seasons.. his consistency truly is impressive. just makes me appreciate him even more.

Why, on gods green earth, would we sign a receiver with more hamstring issues than the law should allow.

We have enough injury issues without adding more

Lmao I heard Lebron was gonna be in town this weekend too. Does this mean Jimmy's out and Lebron's in at TE?

He gets open. That's what Miles Austin does best. Works nicely because that is all Drew Brees needs.

His negatives are: gets hurt often, has some drops

Still, he's an improvement to the current group of WRs. It's a no brainer. We all love our WRs, but Miles Austin is an improvement.

People here bashing him either:
-hate the Cowboys
-had Austin on fantasy team
