He sounded bitter and condescending about the QB being drafted. He was still seething about Bobby saying Baker was outplaying Carr on the question before.

I listened to that whole interview. From the sounds of it, Mickey is not happy. Listen to key words. We’re definitely drafting a QB and he’s mad we wasted money on Carr, he’ll get another chance next year but that’s it

It is interesting Loomis is doing all these interviews. Like he needs to keep on defending himself makes me want to believe that some high ups in the organization that do want change and are not happy with our current situation.

He doesn't like the question because he knows he screwed up. The question makes him pissy because its an indirect way of saying:
"Hey Mick, since you botched the Carr signing an gave a bad qb 150 mil, are you willing to atone for your shitty decision making by doing the right thing?"

This organization was a dumpster fire with Loomis running it before Payton and Brees got here and is again once they have left.
As much as people want to shite on Sean after he left, he was obviously masking Mickey's lack of skills in anything that didn't involve cap restructuring. Without Jeff Ireland, there is no telling how bad this team would be right now.

It’s way too early for those type of questions. Technically we are not eliminated from playoff contention. He has to evaluate if DA will be back next season. If DA isn’t back next season then he has to find a new coach. Then find out what our draft position. Then coordinate with the head coach how he wants to approach the needs to improve the team. So I can see why he got defensive.
