You should read the law suit before speaking.

First off.. I never saw a link.
Second, I don't understand the hate for this guy.

He played injured for brees. Then seemed to be stupid with dealing with injury. But nothing criminal.

You would think if he was all about race he'd be out there for Winston whom seemed to have a little bit of respect in the locker room.

Yes he has shown some diva qualities, but he is the best. He hasn't trash talked the saints.
I'd honestly ask Ceedy Deuce what he thinks.

I've read excerpts and while the Miami situation is unfortunate (shouldn't have been put in that situation at all), I don't think I'm wrong in stating that Flores' claims of racism are simply false based on the evidence provided.

The only reason we're even having this discussion is because of the antiquated Rooney rule.

What specifcially is wrong with that tweet? Other than the preconceived notion that yall hate Thomas

Most of the people on this site hate any black person who speaks up for black causes, but they ain’t racist though.

Literally any topic on this site about race turns into most of the people on this site shitting on POC. They ain’t racist though.

People on this site hate black people so much that they turned against Payton and Brees over black social justice issues. They ain’t racist though.

He’s black, and speaks up on black issues. On this site, the only tolerable black person is a quiet black person. And even then, go be quiet somewhere else, preferably another country besides this one.

I remember an article not too long ago about some blacks that moved to Africa to escape this horribly racist nation as they described it.

They moved back in less than a month

While there is merit to the fact that 75% of NFL players are black, they'll never admit that the majority of those players are completely unsuited to be a head coach

Just like the majority of non-black players on the field today are equally as unqualified

But by all means, please proceed to require at least half of the coaches be black to "more accurately represent the player pool"

The reality is, if Flores was white NYG would have cancelled the interview.

If the Giants interviewed Daboll first and they knew he was their guy, then exactly this!!!

For the people in the Pro-Rooney Rule crowd, if the Giants interviewed Daboll first and they knew they wanted him but just had to iron out contract details, then didn't the Rooney Rule do exactly what it was designed to do by still having to have Flores interview? Nobody can honestly think the Rooney Rule was placed to make teams hire minorities. It was placed to make teams interview minorities to get them that experience and have their names floated around the league. This did that in this case.

Was Flores the only minority interview for NYG? Just curious if they needed to go through with it for the Rooney Rule, or perhaps another thought of if Daboll deal falls through then Flores might be plan B, or while an interview with Flores for HC might not lead to him being HC it could possibly lead to him getting another coaching position with them

Make what obvious? I can’t help that you inaccurately describe a demographic in America. The term “African American” is reserved for people like Elon Musk. You know, people originally from Africa.

Micheal Thomas, like Brian Flores, don’t even understand the rule they now want to abuse for the benefit of one race over the other.

The racism angle is a stretch, but he does have some leverage in how the Rooney rule has been misused. It’s ok if he didn’t get the job, but it’s disrespectful to trot him out there to interview when he doesn’t have a chance because you have offered and hired someone already! The craziest part of the story is the owner offering him $100k per loss to “Tank for Tua” or “Bust for Burrow”...you can’t do that and then fire someone for the way your team is performing! In addition, go like 7 and 1 down the stretch this year...Hell, our D couldn’t stop them!

All that to say that before everyone start jumping on their political soap boxes...let’s let this play out, because I don’t know anyone that stupid to wreck his career without having receipts to prove his claim..

wrong. he likes pointing the finger and stirring the pot.

Wrong. he has the right to speak about anything he likes. but when he is wrong, he opens himself up to ridicule. color has nothing to do with right or wrong.

if he is a citizen, and not a felon, he has every right that i have. no questions asked.

maybe I am a bit different than other people in how i see this argument.
-the nfl, with all of its problems, is the ultimate merit based employer. win, and you have a job. simply too much money to not be merit based.
-i will not spend 4 seconds worrying about MT or coach Flores or anyone else making this type of claim. they have reached millionaire status. 92% of adults in this country have not attained this level. by definition, 8% cannot be "held back". they have, in fact, succeeded.

This right here, Miami is the guilty player here if that is true and they should pay the price for firing Flores when they were paying him to lose games, that is dirty and idk who would want to work for scumbags like that.

But I'm all for the right to hire who you want race don't have anything to do with qualifications. This is just a side affect of typical dimocrat overreach with installing a "Rooney Rule" to begin with.

Correct.

Flores went 10-6 and 9-8 with the SORRY arse Dolphins, with a revolving door at QB. He basically did just as well as Sean this year.

He’s def a good Coach.

Shut the frick up Saints talk. Folks have other opinions than you. Quit fricking crying.
