This was after he signed his massive contract. MT played the entire organization, got rich, and didn't have to take a lot of big hits on his body for a couple years. Frankly, I'm kind of jealous...he'll retire rich AF and in a lot better shape than most former NFL position players later in life.

But yeah he packed it all up after the fricking contract. Just say he got paid, had his best year ever, then got hurt and took bad advice (which other people forget, he found a doc that told him to rehab) and unfortunately was never the same player.
Mike was wrong for all of these tweets, but you have no idea what is going on behind closed doors that led him to this. He's absolutely fricking himself when it comes to future employment which is even worse, but hes not wrong about the saints or Carr.

Of all the reasons to hate Carr, this has to be the absolute dumbest. People act like qbs should be able to place a ball perfectly every time. Carr was 6th in the nfl in comp %, so it isn't like he's throwing wild out there

You think a bad ball is the only reason Mike doesn't like derek? You think it's even a main reason? And not all the other shite he's called Derek out on? I think we can all agree he shouldn't be tweeting about it, but there's too much smoke about Carr not being a true leader and a puss rocket when it comes to accountability.

The irony of it all is that Thomas was the main player recruiting Carr in the offseason.
