Well that’s certainly a comparison.

Super Bowl? He has won one super bowl and he is the best hire?

Uhhh Yeah. There's only been 57 of them in the history of the NFL, and he has one. I dont know if you know this or not, but Super Bowls are hard AF to win.

Andy Reid is the only Head Coach in the NFL right now that has multiple Super Bowl wins.

Out of 32 teams, 7 Head Coaches in the NFL that coached in 2024 have a ring. McCarthy is one of them.

In 18 seasons as a head coach, McCarthy has had 5 losing seasons. For comparisons sake, Sean Payton has had 6 losing seasons in 17 seasons as a head coach. Both have 1 ring.

Yes. McCarthy is the best hire right now.

He willingly left Dallas. He wasn’t fired.

Nope……

McCarthy would maintain the status quo… no rebuild that would take years.

So please enlighten me…

What would Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, or Darren Rizzi bring?

McCarthy brings a ring with him. I’m not sure what the other guys bring other than mystery and uncertainty.

Hes the best hire if you want to win as much as possible now.

If you want to do a truer reset Rizzi is your guy. Team will play hard but inconsistent enough to get a few more top 10 picks the next 2-3 years

Per your request…..

I’m willing to back any coach that’s willing to pursue a Total Reset.

To achieve this….Begin with releasing Carr NOW and suffer at least 2 years with Cap when dismantling the Team.

Don’t think McCarthy willing to immediately enter the situation and suffer losing for about 2-3 years.

The other coaches on your list ??
I don’t know if they are willing to undergo the rebuild either….. so I won’t comment on them.

Per McCarthy… I just think he would want to win NOW and satisfy what Loomis has been doing since Sean Payton left… and that’s win NOW.

There…. You are enlightened.

Look I get it! But I'm basing my data off of previous Super Bowl winning coaches. Most coaches that win the Super Bowl are veterans at being a HC. Every now and again you will get a brand new HC that wins it. By brand new I mean a first time head coach with 5 or less years in that position. Payton, Pederson, and McVay fit that mold as of recent.

Head Coaches with multiple Super Bowl rings with a certain team have been fired (or voluntarily left for whatever reason) from another team, and got another chance somewhere else.

So you're saying keep Rizzi as HC?

McCarthy is an adult and fields a great team. Not his fault his owner was in love with Dak’s mid arse.

I don’t think the issue is a coach accepting this reality, it’s the people that are calling the shots that need to show they’re on board with an actual rebuild. Many coaches would find a total reset attractive in many ways. What isn’t attractive, is a FO that continues to hamstring your future by Looooooomising.

This hiring cycle, there was really only one homerun on the market and that was Johnson. Other than that, they’ve all got warts

I’m not really sure why the narrative around MM is that he’s a shite Coach though, it’s odd.

Then what THE frick are we doing? You want to just hire a coach for some offensive exitement? Maybe win a playoff game or two?

You hire, coach, & play to win a Super Bowl.

McCarthy has won a Super Bowl. He's also got a pretty good winning percentage compared to other HCs in the league.

WTF?!?!?
