Our offense is the only thing holding Kamara back. He would be in the same discussion as Hunt and Cook if it were not for that.

Well, the word is they were trying to trade up to take Mc in the first, but Lattimore fell to them. Kamara in the same mold, not as fast. A solid second rounder that fell to them in the third. Great pick, but not a first rounder.

Discussions based on who was left and who might be left. With Lattimore on the board they were not trading up.

For us to move up, we likely have to trade a 3rd with #11.

So: Lattimore and Kamara or CMC

Yeah, obviously the answer is easy

Kamara benefits from being in the saints offense, but either one would be good. I'm just glad the saints traded to get him. They've had the most success in the Payton era with a Bush/Sproles type all purpose scat back. It's already paying off

Kamara has played much better than I expected. I expect that McCaffrey isn't good enough or athletic enough for long term success in the NFL. Carolina will continue to force the ball to him for another year then some undrafted free agent will outplay him and relegate home to the bench.

he's athletic enough, his "athleticism" is easily among top 10 RBs.

the issue is that they have no OL and he's in a timeshare with Stewart

Nah. He's extremely athletic and will be a useful player for a long time. If anyone expected him to carry it 15+ times a game they are crazy. He will give you 1k+ total yards easily. i see him with around 500 rushing and 600-700 receiving by years end. He's a good player.

So that means he can't still be effective? Lol. Like I said, he'll have 1k+ rushing/receiving by years end if he stays healthy

What's your measure of athleticism?

Is shady a top 10 athletic rb?

McCaffery is the better receiver. Kamara is the better runner.
