The previous two weeks before Atlanta, without Kamara, Murray had over 20+ carries and ran for over 100 yards and scored TDs. The offense controlled the clock and both Bridgewater (Bears) and Brees (Cardinals) feasted in the passing game.

I think you could tell by Kamara's body language and the way he played Sunday that he isn't 100% healthy, and maybe needs to sit until he's back to being the explosive back he normally is.

I think what you see is two things:

1.) Committing to an actual run game has downstream positive effect in the passing game. We seem to have to remind ourselves of that over, and over gain.

2.) Karara is a stud. But, he looked disinterested against Atlanta. I'm guessing he still doesn't feel 100%.

I'm a little concerned about him because he looked like this last year when the nagging injuries started happening. Just looks to be going through the motions. No actual fire during the game.

I think Murray should be in the backfield for every play (obviously not in a 5W play). You can use Kamara in the slot or in a split-back formation.

Yeah well this weekend will tell us a lot. Let’s see how fired up the team is and how they look. I think you want Kamara 100% and they have shown when Murray is the primary back they can still produce great.

It's been pretty clear that as the season goes on and the nagging injuries start to take their toll on him that he becomes less effective and less allusive. He heads out of bounds instantly instead of fighting for yards, and his body language is terrible, appearing to just go through the motions.

He did this for the second half of last year when the Saints offense slumped terribly, and now in his first game back from injury he looked the same.

All of this while Murray ran like a madman two weeks in a row.

You mean a banged up player didn't play 100% of their potential?

Hot take.

It's becoming a trend with him that he can't go a full season without getting banged up. And being that he's going to want Zeke money soon...it's a concern.

Some of you need to try a little harder on here with the reading comprehension.

And Murray went 5 for 12, while AK went 4 for 24. Bottom line is neither did much of anything against Atl, and the primary reason is we didn't run enough.

??

Jesus. He’s had some minor injuries like an ankle sprain. He’s been extremely durable. He basically has missed 2 games the past 3 seasons due to an ankle sprain. Who’s been more durable than that?

He’s always done a good job of knowing when to avoid contact. He was his same elusive self on Sunday, just didn’t get the opportunities.

His play suffered when the oline got banged up, and all our WRs other than MT were injured? Shocking

Dude averaged 100+ over the last 10 games, going over 100 in both playoff games

He averaged more yards per touch, yards per carry, and yards per reception over the backend of the season than he did on the front end.

Also according to Yahoo’s Splits. He averaged the following in Sept/Oct for his career:

97.5 ypg
5.9 yards per touch
4.65 yards per carry
8.3 yards per catch

And the following in Nov/Dec:

106.6 ypg
6.95 yards per touch
5.3 yards per carry
10.2 yards per catch

So he literally produces more as the season goes on, yet is showing a pattern of the opposite?

Stats don’t tell the entire story. And this is also going off of Kamara being a runningback, not a receiver.

he's always gotten out of bounds regardless so that isn't a pattern, everybody's body language was bad last week, once again not a pattern....you're saying he did it in the second half last year but not telling me any game your're just pulling this out of your arse.. and before you list any game don't go pull a game where the whole offense sucked so once again What pattern?
