Maybe it's time for the Saints to take a different approach to the draft?

Instead of drafting LSU players, maybe we draft Alabama players? They've been winning National Championships. Maybe they have better players?

We've drafted more Bama players with so so results. The last LSU guy couldn't even make the team.

Roman Harper, Devery Henderson, Mark Ingram. All decent picks at the time, although I thought Devery was picked too high, but that pick proved me wrong.
I hate how this board gets caught up in hating or loving players from Universities. Some LSU guys have worked out. Patrick Peterson, Kyle Williams, Dwayne Bowe. Some have not. Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, Jamarcus Russell. Some bama guys have worked out. DeMeco Ryans, Julio Jones, Trent Richardson. Some have not. Rolando McClain, Brodie Croyle.
Hey, Drew Brees is great. Maybe we should only draft players from Purdue!!!

too bad hofstra football is no more =(
trade our top 2 draft picks for late rounders and take some fliers on small schools the whole way. that's been working out for us. akiem hicks and corey white last year!
