because making offensive jokes w/ ppl you know is the same as making offensive jokes around people you dont know?
Go get your panties in a wad if you want to... thats your choice. I don't think any NFL team is.

No problems out of the USC football team's mouth.
Racial humor probably is as prevalent in football locker rooms as anywhere else in America. It's one of the few environments where you can crack insensitive jokes and not worry about the crowd turning on you. I played on a predominantly black football team and racial jokes went back and forth all the time with no problems. As long as it was humor and not hate, everything was fine. One time our bus passed some cotton fields on the way to a game and a black teammate stood up and said "Stop the bus, the white people need to get out and pick some cotton" which drew some laughs and then was followed up by the Eddie Murphy song Kill The White People which drew more laughs. I immediately started crying and demanded that he be sent to sensitivty class
Y'all are treating this story like it's a politician running for office. This is a completely different environment and context. His teamates didn't get upset with him, some freshman psych major did.

I could give a shite if people are getting offended. There's always someone looking to get offended over something. There's PETA people who get offended because I just ate a hamburger for lunch.

I still want to know what RCG thinks Reggie would do if he "didn't take it lightly". I mean come on, would he run east west more in protest?

How about this, joke or no joke who is stupid enough to make a PUBLIC FACEBOOK HATE GROUP in this day and age?
How many brain cells have Cushing and Mathews lost from being hit in the head that no one said "hey should we make a racist hate group on the internet?"
The same way I question Harvin, not for smoking weed, but for not being smart enough to hold off during the combine, I question these 2 jokers.
Maybe the actual act was a joke, but the fact they were dumb enough to do it on the internet really raises some flags for me

jokes are fine and dandy but youve got to be fricking stupid to make a facebook group like that and expect it to not be a problem

No but Reggie has matured a lot since his days at USC and I think he may be the first to speak out on this non-sense and the real meaning behind it.
