I'm going to miss him and wish him nothing but the best.

I will miss his fire and toughness. Best of luck to him and hope he secures a last big pay day.

I’ll wish him nothing but the best if he actually gets paid. If he left for another 1 or 2 mil, he can frick off.

I'm going to miss the details

Gonna miss him for sure.
Tough loss coming, but I hope Murray can fill in nicely.

What if he takes a similar deal to lead someone's backfield? Tough to fault a guy for wanting to play more.

Mark followed up his first few very mediocre years with a ton of effort and heart when his team needed it and really won over fans. Solid player and I wish him the best of luck in the league.

Taking more snaps isn’t what’s best for his career at his age. If he signs somewhere else for less than 7.5 mil, I just dont get.
Id imagine the saints were offering him a 5.5/6mil 3 year deal.

RB's need to take every dollar they can get. They should never leave even a dollar on the table. Their careers are too short and can end in an instant.

No way the saints offered him 5.5 or 6 mil a year. That’s a huge overpay if they were.

based off of what has been happening in FA so far, I wouldnt be surprised if he got 7-9mil. Teams are overpaying.
Maybe they wont for a RB, but I dont think it’s out of the question.
ETA: also I dont see why Saints wouldnt have matched the offer if it was only 1-2 mil difference.

FIFY. I understand fans getting upset when a favorite player leaves for more money/opportunities; but this is the reality.

Gonna miss him, hope he gets paid bigly

He had one or two good years and was a bum the rest of the time. GTFOH with this thread

I just want to see the numbers. If he left a top 3 OL in the league where he was spliiting carries for an extra mil, that’s a bad move in my opinion.

That very well could be a 20-25% increase in salary.
