2 more? Who knows? Rings are flukey. How many straight playoffs for the Colts and one? You would think the '08 Pats would be one but they're just another in the Super Bowl L column. Minny & Bills have 4 misses and no wins- and those were some solid teams back in the day. I go the same as my saints outlook... at least 2 more SB appearances in the next 6-7 years. Rings to be seen.

Agreed. Saints put together a good team. I envy their offensive line. Mankins is our best O-lineman, but he is probably not coming back.

Difficult situation with Nicks too, can ya have the two highest paid guards on one team? I see them getting a first for him and moving on with Tennant. Unless- I could imagine Nicks as a RT.

I could see that. Then again, as long as they can hold on to the ball, almost any body with a pulse can average 4 yards a carry in the middle.

But to the original point, when healthy Brees is as good as any QB in the NFL. Obviously his career can't stand up to Manning's at this point though.

Brees started with a bad San Diego team in 2001...had to sit a year, went through some growing pains, then
he had to start over with a bad New Orleans team
Manning essentially has a 4 year head start in the passing categories and as I pointed out...MVPs don't count IMO when judging careers because if the voting were legitimate, Manning would only have two and Brees would have one. IMO, its a wash as to who is better...I think people get too caught up in Manning's MVP awards and numbers (4 year head start on a team with Marvin Harrison and Edgerin James) Brees started out with Tomilinson and...and...and uuuuhh uuuuh

i don't care about ratings...anyone remember Peyton Manning taking a timeout while near the goaline in the super bowl last year...he just gets really flustered in big spots and he's the only athlete where it shows on his face and in his performance...at least for me

A teams regular season record has nothing to do with what they do in the playoffs other wise it would be Atlanta and New England in the Super Bowl this year not Green Bay and Pittsburgh.
All you need to know is Drew has a better post season record than Peyton and the same amount of Super Bowl wins. The one thing Drew has and Peyton does not is..... DREW KICKED HIS arse HEAD TO HEAD IN THE POSTSEASON!!!
