It would honestly depend on how much Jameis, Marcus Williams, and/or Armstead take up.
Never say never, we signed Byrd to that retarded contract with almost no cap room

Gonna be way out of the price range IMO.
Someone will offer him something sorta ridiculous.
Draft is our best option with some other lower cost vets.

Cooper is not worth what he is paid - massively overrated

Loomis has already said the Saints won't be active day 1 or 2 of free agency. The cost is to much for one of those guys. He's quoted in an article that the Saints will be value shopping in free agency. So I think there is no chance.

He & Thomas are too repetitive. They do the same things. The WR Corp needs variation & players with complimentary skills.

You don't pay $20M for 1100 yards and 5-8TDs. And that is with Prescott who is better than whatever the Saints are likely to field this year unfortunately.

Cooper is an overpaid under performer.

i dont think it makes sense to sign any FA WR until they get a legit QB to run the offense. if they dont do that then the WR available in the draft will be more then fine.
so before any personel decisions can realistically be made, getting us a QB has to be addressed first

Wrs make QBs better as well as QBs make Wrs better. Dante Culpepper isn’t a Pro Bowler without Jake Reed, Chris Carter, and Moss. Same for Montana, Brady, and Marino. All their number get better with talent around them. Sometimes it’s okay to buy the cart before the horse lol.

Not only is he overrated but he was crying about targets when the cowboys were on a win streak last year. Don’t need that attitude in here, reason Brandin Cooks got shipped out
