Be careful your joy at others misery
All night Sunday on Tiger Rant LSU fans were celebrating White and Fournette beating the Saints. Now they are going crazy because the Saints blocked LSU from getting their coach under contract with contract language preventing such a move.
I root for both so I was upset at the joy some LSU were taking in the Saints losing. Glad the Saints kept their future DC

I’m really at a “frick off” mindset both towards LSU and the Saints

Payton just made a play to keep a coach he valued. Hard to fault him for that, wouldnt be doing his job if he didnt

Why can’t Saints fans and Tigers fans get along? Why do they have to pretend like people must pick sides? Both franchises are historically second-fiddles at best, and have frequently served as choke artists for the past 20 years.

Not always I went to LSU and prefer the Saints. Unrealistic fans that think LSU is a blueblood and bigger than the Saints turned me off of that Fandom.

LSU was so lousy from 2014-2018 that they never had a shot.
Choked in multiple games in 2013 (Georgia and Ole Miss especially)
Choked big time in 2012 against Florida and Alabama
Big time chokes in 2010 against Auburn and Arkansas
Tried to choke away 2007 with losses against UK and Arky, but made the title game somehow anyways.
That 2006 Ref Gate loss to Auburn cost LSU a shot at an SEC Title and BCS run.
Completely crapping the bed against Georgia in the SEC title game plus the pathetic OT loss to Tennessee cost LSU a BCS appearance in 2005.
That 10-9 loss to Auburn kept LSU out of the 2004 SEC Championship game (but likely would not have been enough to make the championship game)

LSU is a shite show. They have a ton of problems. Being their DC is a quick trip to the unemployment line. Assistant HC is far better under Payton.
