I expect to win games, and I hope our coaches use whatever players give us the best chance of that happening. If we lose this year, would you give Allen another year bc he was letting a lesser player develop?

There could be something going on behind the scenes that fans don't know about. For all we know this could only be for one or two games. We'll see how it shakes out.

If you were gonna bench, seems like it would have been done after the first two games. He was complete shite. Think the last few games, he hasn’t given up a sack and very few pressures.,

Just a guess here but maybe they feel it’s a way to get their 5 best lineman in the lineup and Penning got the short straw. Even if that was the case, I would bench Hurst and not Penning. Its just really weird considering that Hurst is arguably your worst lineman.

I heard Nick say part of the reason the tight ends have been nonexistent is because they’re helping Penning block

And maybe Carmichael complained that the TEs continously helping Penning restricts what he can do on offense. Although I believe thats more on Carmicheal play calling and not Penning. When your seat is hot, you start pointing the fingers like Carmicheal does.
