Let’s say the Bengals actually decided to rebuild and put Burrow on the market.

What do you offer for him? I know I know, this is very unlikely to happen but if they keep losing crazier shut has happened and getting off his contract would free up a ton of money for him. The Saints are way more than one player away and they have to solve WR, interior OL and making the defense younger and cheaper but I also believe firmly that you live and die by your QB. You don’t get far into the playoffs without being an elite at the position. There are occasional Trent Dilfers and Brad Johnsons but you need to solve that spot first. Maybe 3 firsts gets them talking and I would really think about that price. We would just have to hit on our early and mid round picks to rebuild for a few years but we would be set at QB.

They would never, ever, ever trade burrow.

This is the dumbest shite ever.

You rebuild around your franchise QB not ship him off. Do you know how hard it is to find a Franchise QB?

As a Saints fan, I’d offer 4 first round picks.

Whatever it takes.

3 first are what they would require just to pick up the phone.

We dont have enough outstanding young talent to be able to combine with multiple picks to make a serious offer.

No, my wife giving me permission to sleep with Anne Hathaway is very unlikely. The Saints trading for Joe Burrow is made up fantasy bullshite.

They have a franchise qb in his prime and probably the best receiver in the league.

GM has to be a Loomis level idiot if he can’t build a winner off that combination

They would never make him available

But if they did, I would literally be OK with whatever the Saints did to get him

Burrow will leave that shithole in 4-5 years. We need to get our books in order so we can make him an offer.

They had a winner then the defense went to shite.

Lost some leaders on defense like Jessie bates.

It’s going to very interesting to see how they handle Higgins and Chase’s contracts on offseason. They need so much on defense and the OL that they can’t afford to break the bank for both!

I'd say it's literally impossible.

Not only would they never do it...I think the Saints would have the least to offer of the other teams that would want in.

To get Burrow, you'd probably need something like what happened to Brees...a career threatening type of injury that most think will take the last few years from him...AND, you decide to pay him more than anyone else will.
