Let’s be honest here. The offense lost a step or two the last two months.

And it finally caught up to us at the worst time possible with the saints wasting two chances to blow this game wide open.

You can’t expect to keep winning games with a trash receiving core that would have like an average of 50-53 rating on madden outside of Michael Thomas.

The offensive line having injury issues didn’t help things either.

We need depth and a hell a competent medical staff as well.

I know Tommy Lee Lewis lost two steps when he was decleated on a blatant PI penalty.

Yes they did and I’m sick of the ducking people telling us the offense didn’t have a problem. They’ve been bad since that Cowboys game.

Yet with all that we ran a play the gets called about as close to 100 percent of the time as a penalty can be called.

A play which would’ve allowed us to kick a chipshot field goal as time essentially expired.

Sorry if I don’t care about the receiving corps madden rating.

Absolutely. To suggest otherwise is just sticking your head in the sand.

No shite the refs are crooked and corrupt.

Saints fault for giving them the chance to rape them.

Yep. Hasn't been the same since the Dallas game but lots of people wanted to discount that.

Offense hasn't looked as good.

But the Defense has been lights out, and ST has been good all year.

You just don't win with offense.

100% true, but in spite of that, the Saints should still be playing in ATL in 2 weeks

Dude, if the offensive line was healthy and had a competent and average to above average receiving corps, they would have never wasted two chances to blow this game open and never be in a position for the refs to rape them.

Rankins would’ve been a real difference maker in getting Goff to the ground which the saints failed to do enough.

Defense was poorer and more vulnerable without his big body swallowing up the center and a guard.

Offense was bipolar and really really started to regress towards the second Falcons game, Cowboys and on. Was hard to watch at times. Defense got much better but the offense regressed

That’s all great. We still called the play that in literally any other nfl game I’ve watched over the last two decades (and I’ve watched hundreds) would’ve been enough to allow us to bleed the clock and kick an easy game winning field goal.

I was amazed when the D got that turnover deep in Rams territory early in the game and we couldn’t put it in the endzone.

Real uncharacteristic for this offense.. at home no less.

Settled for a FG instead.

This 100%
anyone have a diagnosis? I'm guessing nagging injuries on the line leading to increased pressure on Brees and fewer holes for Ingram and AK
