In all honesty, what percentage is this compared to “you just don’t know what’s going to happen?”

Pathetically bringing it into another thread.

Sure it is. The guy that can do everything (including 7 whole completions over 2 years) is getting kid a lot of money as a QB.

Think about it. That’s a little more than 2M a completion.

I mean the guy can do it all. Just look at those 7 completions.

So, you are assigning 100% of his salary to his completions? Even though playing QB is his smallest role?

You have to assign some of that to his catches, to his runs, to his TDs, to his special teams play. How about just the fact that he provides another layer of insurance at QB?

We didn't pay him because he completed 7 passes in two years or whatever.

But the pie chart said that QB was his greatest role.

So, Taysom will have a 12 year NFL career?

Does he? That seems like the lower policy you choose from at work.

Taysom seemed to be the only one that showed up for the playoff Vikings game and nearly beat them by himself. Because he’s incredibly versatile like no one else

We keep circling back to these generic answers. So, a guy that can play average at a few positions is works great players at each of those positions?

Seems like you could get some really good TEs, RBs, and STs players for less than 17 M.

You keep bringing up different points from your original post. If your issue is the money, which it seems to be, they're basically paying him QB money for next year.

Im not a huge Hill fan like others but with him its also about the threat of what he might do. Defenses have to be ready for that. When he lines up at receiver he may end up throwing a pass or running a clearout route. Then theres everything else in between those two. Peronally, I think he is one of the best special teams players in the league. I wish they would have kept his main focus there.

Are you special?

That wasn't your original question. If you want to discuss his probability of being the QB when Brees retires then ask that.

Literally any other professional football player that isn’t used in the same way and gushed over by national analysts is an example of what Taysom Hill can do that “any other athletic player wouldn’t”.

I personally think the more snaps he gets at QB the more of a threat he becomes on every other play. He did very well in the playoff game vs the Vikings, which is more than what can be said about a lot of the rest of the team...

What does Thomas bring that another very good WR doesn't?
