Deuce is alluding to the injury being a high ankle sprain via Twitter.

I doubt it's a high ankle sprain. He wouldn't have been able to walk I don't think

He says he knows how bad it is.

Unfortunately, that seems to be what Deuce has become. He tries to act as if he knows it all and is demeaning to those that he feels do not know as much as he.

Can't imagine he would have gone back in.

Didn't he jog off the field too. If high ankle sprain, wouldn't be able to jog off!!

Not necessarily true. He would still be pretty mobile until that swelling set in.

Anyone know if he is in a boot?

I saw him doing sprints on the sideline off and on pretty much the entire 2nd and 3rd quarter testing it out.

Let him sit against the Rams, especially with Woods out, to really get it right for Carolina/Atlanta back to back.

Sprints =/= high ankle sprain. Thanks for the info.

Sounded way more like he's saying it's NOT a high ankle sprain.

Some guys said he thought it wasn't a high ankle sprain originally, and then said he guesses he is wrong based off of one of Deuce's tweets, then Deuce said, "Who said you were wrong?"

This.

Was wondering if the OP could actually read.

Yeah, Deuce wasn't suggesting he had a High Ankle sprain at all. Dude was in the locker room 2 hours after leaving the game posing with the whole team.

Unless we see him in a walking boot today, don't be concerned.

If he is not on the flight to LA Friday. Well, then you know your answer.

Having had a similar injury (which wasn't a high ankle sprain), I wouldn't freak out if he is in a walking boot for the first week just to make sure he doesn't put any torque on it so it can get the maximum rest.

But they may decide it isn't bad enough to even do that.

They put him in a boot after the locker room celebration. That was reported already. But it was a precaution thing. I mean they are pro athletes.

Brettesaurus Rex, was he doing sprints in the 3rd AFTER he took himself back out? Personally, if it was a high ankle sprain or something severe knowing Payton, then Lattimore would've went straight to the locker room and we wouldn't had seen him on the sidelines.
