That would be a perfect play design for taysom. I don’t understand how we have what looks like the most vanilla offense in the league when he was versatile weapons like Taysom that could be used exactly like Lamar.

Taysom can't throw like Lamar.

Lamar may have a bigger arm but Taysom would probably be more accurate with most intermediary routes. I said it in the game thread, when we watch Jameis and Dalton and Siemian and even older Drew make throws all game, then Taysom comes in and throws a rocket... its always instantly noticed and pops off the screen. He played through a planting foot injury and a throwing finger injury last year. Its unbelievable the disrespect Pussy Bitch Kuck Dennis Allen did to Taysom this offseason.

I know you still have his dick firmly in your hand, but Taysom is not a good QB.

He'd be better than garbage arse Dalton at this point, but I'll be really happy when none of the current QBs are on the roster.

They need to play Taysom but implement a similar scheme to that of the Ravens. Sean used to try and use the Brees playbook with Taysom and it just didn't work. You have to let him move and improvise a bit.

Taysom is not the same kind of athlete that Lamar is. He can't escape like that. He is more of a run through you, bruiser. Lamar is a make ya miss.

we don't usually move Taysom and get him out the pocket. See above post in OP. His speed, run, pass, and outside escapability is superior in the NFL.

What information do you want? How about his career trajectory?

Oft-injured in college
Undrafted
Cut from GB
Used as gadget player
Tried at QB
Paid bigly to complete 2 passes per game and zero receptions per game
Relegated to his former duties after being beat out by Winston AND Dalton

Lamar is still very inconsistent as a thrower. I saw a few very off throws last night from Lamar, but Taysom's one throw was a dart and right on the money. Not saying they are on the same level but I think with the right coaching and support Taysom has the tools to be a Lamar-type player.

That throw was perfect and it was easy. If Taysom could do that consistently at all, he'd be starting.

Lamar is on another planet from Taysom. Please refrain from comping anything from their games.

If you want to comp Taysom why don’t you start with a Marcus mariota or something

They were sucking off lamar for having a 7.4 ypc average.

Lamar even is a bigger passing threat per ya'll.

Yet Taysom averaging 8.6 ypc when everyone knows he's running.

I'm not saying Lamar may not be better in most ways but to say Taysom isn't on the same level in a lot of ways is flat our wrong and naive. Taysom should have been used by Payton like Jalen Hurts was/is being used.

I wish we’d just roll with Taysom at this point.

All irrelevant to this season. Circumstances matter.

Dalton isn’t it and isn’t the future.

Winston I believe is still injured.

It’s quite okay to make a change in a season that is down in the dumps. It’s not like you can’t go back to your backup QB.

I said earlier in the thread he may be a better option at this point.
