Saints need to do whatever it takes to keep him. If this offense keeps up, other teams will be coming after him. I wouldn't be surprised, after 2 seasons, some desperate team offers him a HC job thinking he's the next Mike McDaniel.

2 seasons? If we keep this up teams will be trying to talk to him before this season is over

If the offense keeps this up the whole season you might just have to give him the head job. Can’t let him get away

Can Allen be the DC and Kubiak the HC OC?

Can Mickey make the switch?

If the offense keeps this up he will be one of the first guys given a head coaching job and will likely have his choice of several. Enjoy it this year.

I actually agree and don’t think it’s that crazy. What was the year when Washington had both Kyle Shannahan and Sean McVay, only for both of them to leave.

This dude has made it so that it almost doesn’t look like the offense is playing the same sport as last year’s offense. It is incredible. Have to hold onto him. It ain’t about Dennis Allen.

There is no keeping him if this keeps up. He’ll be a head coach.

Pretty sure this is his first time calling plays. Hopefully if the offense stays at this level all year, Saints can keep him for at least one more season after this.

Any update on Taysom? Heard he got taken to the hospital for evaluation of a chest injury. A torn pec could frick up a promising season, based on how much he means to this offense.

That would involve firing Dennis Allen in the offseason, fresh of a World Championship. Ballsy.

This. Only way we keep him is if DA somehow retires or we fire him.

You could get lucky and he wants to stick around another year like Slowik and Ben Johnson did. The odds of that happening are low. And even then, if your offense does this again next year, he’s for sure gone

Let me guess. You have been in favor of firing Allen and now you are fitting your narrative so you don’t have to admit you were wrong.

Dennis Allen hired him. Allen is responsible for the whole team, so he gets the credit, just as he would get the blame.

This has never happened, anywhere, after a successful season. But sure, start holding your breath.

Best thing is he brought a passing game coordinator with him from San Fran so if he were to leave the passing game coordinator just gets promoted to OC. Similar to what the Niners did this year having Griese replace Kubiak.
