Just go ahead and put him on IR now and bring back Merriweather from the PS.

Can they draft John Emery Jr in the supplemental draft since he's not playing for LSU

Picking this dude over Spears was such a headscratcher

Because he went to Tulane?
Passing on 2 acl surgeries is a headscratcher, indeed

That’s not a bad idea, actually.

so taking a guy with no real knees ahead of who we got was the better choice?
on one hand people post about how we take a player with injuries in the past, and then post about how we should have taken a player with a know injury plagued past when we don't.
this board cracks me up sometimes

Nah bc Spears was the better player
If both guys have injury concerns, pick the better ball player.

so this is what came out around the draft time with Spears was taken by the Titans:
Ian Rapoport reported on the NFL Network that Spears suffered two torn ACLs in his past. At the NFL Combine, tests revealed a full thickness cartilage loss, and no ACL in his knee. Additionally, Spears has arthritis. Rapoport said it's unclear how long he will be able to play in the NFL, and even openly wondered if Spears could be a "one-contract guy."
the no ACL comment is laughable, i mean he has one - but how durable it is and how it will hold up is what teh question is.
statistically better than Kendre, possibly - but if your going to invest in a Back, you want one that will be around a while - not one that may not be able to make it through his rookie contract.
at the end of the day, it is all a crap shoot - but you have to make the call on the back that will net you the most for your investment.

We brought back Tony Jones over D Williams?
Also I wanted either Vaughn or Achane after he made a pretty good LSU defense his bitch.

I’m 6ft 2 baw
But you are in better shape. I’ll give you that.
In terms of Spears vs Kendre
I get that Spears has ACL issues and I’m being a bit tongue in cheek comparing that to Kendre’s injuries.
But Miller has had injury issues all through camp. He also had an injury that forced him to miss the National Championship game in college. He just hasn’t seemed to reliable as of late or willing to play through discomfort.
Spears on the other hand, apparently has zero ACL’s and still played in and contributed to a win in a much more meaningless bowl game. So, not only do I think he’s the better player. He seems to want it a bit more.
I just didn’t get the pick then and I don’t get it now. He looks to legitimately be out of shape and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s attributing to his camp injuries.

It's Tay-Time as a RB. Give him 15-20 carries/game til AK comes back and presto...your running game is solved! HB option pass would be elite
