Honestly I think our offense just looks...cockamamie. Just a collection of mid players and Alvin Kamara.

He seemed slower last year. Not as explosive. But he can still catch.

Vet RBs like Hunt are probably the best bang for your buck you can spend these days.

Kamara at his contract is a liability.

Unfortunately, there is not getting out if that contract.

I'd gladly take Kareem Hunt & Anthony Barr

They are probably signing him to replace Eno B. Eno probably was gonna make the team because they assumed Alvin would be suspended at some point. The plan for the first 3 games probably was to carry 3 guys into games with that being Williams, Miller and Benjamin. Benjamin gone, that now can turn into Hunt. You don’t wanna have just 2 guys incase one gets hurt in the game. Kinda why D Washington being good on special teams was nice to have because we could use him as the 3rd guy too.

I don't think he's a homerun hitter anymore but he can definitely help us.

Alvin Kamara would move down a spot as our most thuggy running back.

We could use Kareem Hunt & he would definitely help us out, but Barr fills a bigger need imo.

Seems like way too many mouths to feed

Hunt has some the best receiving metrics/stats since entering the league. He just brings a different dynamic than the ones we have already, save Kamara.

That’s possibly too many egos on one team at the same position, kind of like when we signed Adrian Peterson.

Kamara, hunt, Williams have all split carries without a peep. They are choosing to sign here knowing the situation

Bell cow days are over aside from a few cases every now and then, offenses have evolved to more wide open pass happy type offenses with athletic QBs across the league. AK isn’t even a bell cow type back so it’s good to have as many solid options as you can

Alvin is better than Williams and Hunt, that’s why you need him

Moving him into a heavier 3rd down back role later on I think will extend his career and maybe we can come out on the good end of production vs cost.

He has a $10.8 million base in 2024. That will likely be his last year, at least under that contract. His base balloons to $22.4 million in 2025 and the Saints would save about $19 million in cap by releasing him then.

Yes, Olave is a bonafide WR2 who I wouldn’t count on to carry a passing game.
