why in the world would kamara defend his punching of someone by saying he thought he was running away?

eta: why has anyone else not been arrested if kamara wasn't the guy who threw the big blow?

So it's looking like the offense is going to be on full tilt rebuild mode.

First of all NEVER TALK TO THE POLICE. Get a fricking lawyer and shut the frick up. He just admitted to assaulting this man.

And there is video footage.

So he admits to throwing several punches and “doesn’t remember” if he hit him while on the ground. Yikes.

When the police read you your rights and tell you that you have the right to remain silent, what do you do?

SHUT THE frick UP!

Never consent and Shut the F Up!

He is stupid as hell for talking to the police and they get him in a lie.

And he didn't stop to think that there were surveillance cameras EVERYWHERE. Dope.

So Kamara tells the cops that he chased the guy down to keep punching him? But video evidence proves this isn't accurate.

Kamara is a moron. He won't see jail time over this but Goodell is no doubt salivating at the suspension he'll hand out. Saints better target a running back in rounds 2-3 now.

I know that we want to believe this is a nothing burger, but it is not. The NFL doesn’t really care about innocent till proven guilty and has shown over and over that they don’t need proof beyond the shadow of a doubt. The video account disputes Kamara’s account and I’m sure TMZ or the like will acquire and air it at some point. I’m not ready to say Kamara is a bad person but at the very least he has made some poor decisions that have put himself (and the Saints organization) in a really bad situation.

And it's likely it doesn't even matter what he says. It's on video.

Ya, whatever’s on video is probably worse than his description.

But if he admits to all that, you know it’s bad. Suspension incoming. Agreed about targeting a RB in middle rounds.

None of this matters. He's rich and will never see any type of punishment other than $$$$.

Fines and settling out of court with the victim.

It's almost worse, the guy got hit first by Kamara's group and then he starts ground and pound

fricking Latt got popped with a stolen gun last year and nothing happened. This is the NFL, they'll be happy the fight wasn't with a chick. I'm sure AK's lawyer is good, he's got 6 months to buy the guy off.
