Or maybe we just have a lot of posters on here softer than Tysons hamstrings that melt about anyone playing devils advocate

If his injury history is not even a small red flag on his evaluation then they are pointless. We all want a no red flags pick.
It's why I think we pass on Bain and Tysom at 8. Both great players and first round picks.

He can’t risk a 76273848th soft tissue injury before the draft

Why would I? Of course I don’t.
If you honestly have zero concerns about this injury history, then I can only assume you have no concerns about any player in the draft (or are just being disingenuous to get responses). I get it if you just like his skill set so much that the "swing for the fences" pick is worth the concerns about his injury history. However, I cannot see anyone having no concerns.

Yeah “no concerns “ is a bit strange. I’m desperately wanting a wr and even I can’t overlook the fact that he’s been hurt A LOT and that gives me some pause. If someone does draft Tyson and he remains healthy then they are likely getting one of the best values in the entire draft. (Dependent on where he’s taken obviously). I have a feeling he ends up tumbling but I wouldn’t melt if the Saints grabbed him at 8. But I think everyone paying attention def has plenty of concerns.

He never had a repeated injury.

He came back from the worst one and then had a hammy? We just don’t draft anyone who had a hamstring injury now?

Injury prone players don’t have to repeat injuries. Kendre Miller for example. Lotsa soft tissue and now structural.

When you injure one spot, you can over compensate for it and injure another.

Tyson is off my board. We need reliable above average and consistent starter from that pick.

That said, if forced to lay down some cash I’d bet he’s the pick. Too much smoke.

Why would I have concerns? No one has explained it yet they just repeat the same things.

Why would I be concerned about 3 completely different injuries to 3 completely different body parts?

Just watched his workout.

Dude looks like Randy Moss when he got drafted by the Patriots out of California.

Saints are taking him.

Bc he is extremely “oft injured “. Separate injuries or not they’re still injuries. Multiple injuries throughout his career significantly reducing his playing time. I don’t know any other way to put it. I get what you’re saying but to not have SOME concern is wild. Every scout in the league has concerns with Tyson due to him always having an injury. No matter how you wanna look at it or frame it the baw is injured a lot and ppl have noticed. I’d take the risk even at 8 but I could totally see why he’d tumble also.

And to be clear I’m fine (happy even ) to take Tyson at 8. I love the kid and he has insane upside. He’s better than Chris Olave from day 1 imo

He tore his knee. Broke a collarbone. And then dealt with a hamstring years later.

wtf are you talking about?

So if a guy has a broken arm his freshman year, then takes a helmet to the knee and tears an ACL his junior year, you are saying that makes him “injury prone” in a way that is meaningful at all?

Lol

Meaningless nonsense part 2

If a guy is constantly getting soft tissue injuries that are similar, ok.

If he has multiple knee injuries, ok.

His injuries are completely different and unrelated.

These same guys would never have drafted Shough.

You have to go a little deeper than just “he got injured a couple of times”

What are the injuries? How did he get them? How did he recover?

Has the training staff looked at him. What do they think?

Literally every player is a risk. Look at the top 10 for the past decade. 60%+ bums.

Trust your evaluations and thats all you can do

Okay fella. Being injured often and being oft injured mean literally the same thing. Has he not often been injured ?

The answer is 1000% yes. I’m not calling him injury prone. It’s less bothersome than one being injury prone but still cause for SOME concern. Go argue with a wall

Well the question would be: so what?

Because he broke his collarbone and tore his knee he’s somehow just going to keep getting injured?

Maybe. Hence the concern. I take the risk with the pick. Or take lemon. But I’m not that “bothered” by it. I’m just making a point that “some concern “ is warranted. You disagree. We agree to disagree. Or I do at least. Carry on.
