Normally don't have two first round picks traded up for 3rd pick in draft as a backup neither.

I'm pretty sure everyone knew this after last years draft where they traded up to the #3 spot for Lance. Sit 1 year basically and then hand him the keys. Smart play? Who knows but they have to live with the decision they made.

They really didn't. If they believed in Garoppolo, Lance would be much easier to trade with a better return.

How? Their floor is about the same but Winston's upside is significantly higher.

There would be teams that would definitely be interested… Seattle, Carolina, Houston, possibly New Orleans

Yeah I could see how great this would be. Cut JW and bring in Jimmy. I'm sure the players would just fall in behind JG like they did in frisco. Would be a great team chemistry builder no doubt. Thanks man that is some smart thinking.
