He's not gonna be able to attend combine bc his HS incident. If he slips to late 1st, the saints should absolutely try to move up and get him. Jordan, rankins, Simmons, Davenport with okafor and onyemata is a championship level dline

Yeah, I know that's why I said if he slips to late 1st. I think we might would be able to pull into late 1st. It would hurt, but this season is realistically our window

I've seen some good dlinemen roll through state... McPhee, Chris Jones, Preston Smith, fletcher cox. I think Simmons is better than all of them

Simmons is a man. I've seen him playing against top OL's and be consistently dominant. I hope he grew up after that ugly incident. That was 3 or 4 years back. If he matured beyond it I'd enjoy him on our defensive line. A push from the middle to go with our ends? Yes please. Don't know that the Saints have the leverage it would take to move up for him though.

Simmons is a great talent but I don't see us trading up again for another DL.
