That is a really good time for him even if it is hand timed. Some were projecting him to run in the high 4.6 low 4.7 range. He might not make it to us. His top end speed was his biggest question Mark

Collins has been a guy I’ve wanted on the Saints ever since we lost to Tampa Bay. Watch interviews of the guy. He fits the Payton mold and can be the next leader of the team and be a force on the field as well.

I like his game but the Saints need help on the Dline and in the secondary.

Yup. Collins or Cox would be a homerun pick for the Saints.

2 CBS mocks have the Saints picking him, 1 CBS mock has him going to Kansas City after our pick and another CBS mock has him going at 18. WalterFootball has him going in the teens. PFF has him early in the 2nd round. Draftblasters has him going 22 overall. Todd McShay and Mel Kipsr have him going to the Browns at 26.
With this 40 time, we may have to move up if we want him now.

I can see it. Feels like a deep draft especially the first 50 picks or so. Some good players are going to slide and linebacker isn’t one of those premium positions. Zaven is also projected to be the 3rd or 4th linebacker off the board. I feel like it isn’t crazy to see him go as the second guy though but time will tell. Anyways you have 5 qbs projected to go in the firsts. It is a pretty deep tackle draft and I think we will see a lot more of those guys taken in the second half of the 1st round then you are seeing right now. You have at least 4 good corners prospects projected to go in the first. You also have a ton of wide receiver talent.
I personally would love to see us get any of the following:
Horn, Collins, Bolton, Marshall, or Newsome.

Hmmm, Ireland just checked out Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in person at ND, and now Zaven Collins at Tulsa.
