If we hadn’t pushed so much money into this year. Said he’s had a horrible training camp and Haener has been outplaying him. Also said the same about Peat. We would probably waive him but we have too much money pushed into this year to do it. Said he’d feel comfortable with Haener as the number two since Hill has won a bunch of games as a backup in case he fails…..

Don’t shoot the messenger, not a Jeff Duncan fan. But it’s his job to observe the team on a daily basis.

Jeff Duncan sees what we see. I can see Winston and Peat get cut because of salary cap.

I picked that up from watching 10 minutes of the last game. Winston doesn't get it and will never get it.

Duncan is a retard. You have a QB who's started 5 years worth of NFL games on a 1 year, $4m contract to be QB2. Why would you release him?

Peat is a different story. He's overpaid, often-injured, and he's not that good when he does play. However, OL depth is something that's very important so, again, why would you release him?

You won't find better players than them for any cheaper at this point.

Well, duh.

Winston sucks. Always has, always will.

Even more duh.

Me, in January.

I personally like Jake Haener out of Fresno. Smart, accurate, gutsy, clutch. Plays within himself and throws catchable balls that put his skill guys in position to get YAC. https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/display.aspx?sp=106582693&s=2&p=106572862#106582693

Me, in May.

I can’t wait until camp because I think Haener has a good shot at beating him out. Never bought into the Jameis foolishness. https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/display.aspx?sp=107980146&s=2&p=107979528#107980146

Of course my Saints Talk lil guys will go on and on about how bad of a poster I am, but it's only because I don't agree with their shitty takes while they dickride the black and gold dildo to no end.

Both are on league minimum deals and both took pay cuts to stay. I cannot see them getting waived.

Salary cap is not the issue. It comes down to roster spots. Are you really gonna carry 3 qbs when you have Hill?

If Duncan is reporting that, I would expect Jameis to get the starting nod in week 1

Don’t think you understand. It has a big effect on the cap if they are cut. Their guaranteed money gets accelerated to this year, instead of spread out to next years cap.

You're thread title is misleading as frick and breaks a site rule. Not that I expect more from the 2nd worst poster on this board.

I am literally listening to it right now. He said “I don’t think it’s going to happen,” that we are “probably stuck with them because of the cap.” Saying they don’t deserve a spot on the 53 is not the same as “will likely get waived” as this thread doesn’t just suggest, but outright lies.

I would be happy if neither were on the team along with Mr Smith.

You can tell Underhill’s attention has him on the fritz; he’s been throwing a lot of hot shite at the wall to get attention

Taysom Hill was already on the roster. They could’ve, you know, just not resign Winston like 4 months ago

I’ve called a lot of shots on here, and hit on a vast majority of them.

Like Dalton is a better qb than Winston and will replace him by the 5th game.
DA is a bad coach and we should have hired Harbaugh or Pederson. Also said only receiver worth moving up for was Garrett Wilson, who ended up being the rookie of the year.

Those were just my preseason predictions last year. Not bad for the 2nd worst poster on here…..

Haener will go on the practice squad to be groomed to compete for QB2 next season.

Haener didn't even get reps when they did the practices against the Chargers. If they viewed him as a competitor for the backup job he would've.
