I’m perfectly fine with this. We have CJGJ and draft picks. Winston is capable. The team is good. Coaching staff will have to prove itself.

After the last week of all of this Watson BS, him & his side saying he wanted to go to the team with the best chance to win immediately only to have him basically waste the Saints (& others) time & effort for it to end up being ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!
I did hear one NFL female reporter say that Watson Reached back out to the Browns bc Watson thinks they have the Most Complete Roster of all the teams, WTF????

I'd like Jameis more than any other QB, & the good thing is that he'll probably give us some kind of discount.
He REALLY wants to be a Saint. It's his most preferred destination, & he grew up a Saints' fan.
That being said...he's not going to sign a 1 year, 10 mil contract imo. Gotta give him 2-4 years

I mean...they gotta great D, one of the best Olines and in the NFL, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Amari Cooper. It's very comparable to the Saints roster but for a ton more money. That division is going to be murderers row though, hell the whole AFC is.

I disagree. They might give him 2 years but no way it goes to 4.

Why would he give a discount?
1. Because he has took one for 2 years learning our system and 1 behind Brees?
2. Because while he is worried about a job next year, he is left pissing in the wind?
3. While his numbers weren't astronomical, he proved he can change his tendencies and when given a chance he can make a big play. But his team has spent the last two weeks lubing up for deshaun.
So again Why are we getting a discount?

This is the most “well no shite” thing Adam Schefter has probably ever put out. 
Like yeah we just lost out on the trade and dont have a QB, of course that means our previous QB without a job is in play.
