That is an awesome description !
If the Little Emo fricker ever read this, he'd cry in bed for a week (Hopefully after we win the SB).

I was there. Sat in upper endzone with son. All Falcons fans around us were nice. Not very spirited though. Place only got loud when induced by a gimmick (samuel L Jackson videos, cameo appearances by Justin Beiber, flame throwers, T-shirt bazookas, etc.) or the rare big play by their team. The Falcons are a very good team. However, the Saints know how to win in close quarters. I honestly hope Saints get the 5th seed and work the way back there for a rematch. Saints have owned them in that venue lately. What a story that would make. The Falcons fans are envious and don't really have an identity. It's the screwed up culture there or lack thereof. Nothing ties the rural WASPs to the Urban Dwellers and the Metropolitan transplants. I live in Augusta GA now, so I really don't get to the Super Dome much. I can say that the past two years when I have gone to downtown Alanta for a Saints game that I feel completely "at home". There are plenty of vocal Saints fans in the hotels, restaurant and bars. Also, many of the people in the service industry downtown are Saints fans or claim to like the Saints. Many are legit bc of Katrina issues.

Oh, and I found it interesting that during player intros, they introduced their offense. Now, it was cool that the OL waited until all five of them were introduced and then they ran onto the field as a unit. What was odd, however, was that Matt Ryan was introduced third to last; he was followed by White and Turner. Shows that not even the Falcons think their QB is truly elite.

Though I agree that you are too quick to jump out and point out Brees' interception (sometimes in places it almost doesn't seem pertinent), I agree with the notion that Brees' picks hurt us more than Hartley's missed kick(s) did. I still say Hartley didn't win us the game, but he did not lose us the game either, the defense lost the game. It's a team game and people LOVE to play the blame game when it's really a team effort.
somewhat fair enough. I blame neither Hartely or Brees for the losses. The team gets the blame. To clarify my Brees post for others--Many are quick to plae the blame on Harley for our projected seed. However, the same folks won't dare blame Drew for his numerous INT's in two other losses, many in opponents' territory and at least one returned for a TD. If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander is my point. I think you see that BTW. And for others, I do not blame Drew or Hartley for losses.

I'm not sure who would be fired up by Justin Beaber, though.

FWIW, Beiber was also played at, at least, the Saints Rams game in the Dome.

Don't you think that's a bit hypocritical considering how much you go out of your way to talk about Brees's bad passes when someone mentions Hartley, but you will ALWAYS give Bush a free pass and never mention his frick ups, and better yet, go out of your way to "protect" Bush?

You have one serious warped definition of "incessant stalker" considering I only EVER reply to his points. It's not like I follow him in threads that have nothing to do with Brees, THAT would be stalking.
Weird.

not only do u need a noise meter to tell people to make noise, you need these cheesy skits with Samuel L Jackson to pump people up?
Posted on 12/30/10 at 7:48 am to LSUFanNTX
It should be noted that he was loudly booed.

anyone that has ever been knows about the "noise meter" that they need in order to pump up their fans. They still arent very loud even with that.

I brought a buddy of mine from Atlanta who's a big Falcond fan to the New England game last year. Midway thru the 1st quarter he looks at me and screams (b/c it was so loud) "YA'LL (Saints fans) ARE THE BEST FANS IN THE NFL!!! THE GEORGIA DOME AIN'T GOT shite ON THIS PLACE!!"
I had to agree.

That's all it is. Cards browns games had huge turnover issues, that is the clear problem. One or two bad kicks vs 8 turnovers with 3 being returned for tds.
Cmon man!

im pretty sure this was the quietest the stadium was all game. and i didnt realize t shirt guns were unusual at games considering i have seen them at literally every sporting event ive ever been to.

actually it just shows that there are better players on the team. i personally think it should be roddy white going last, with ryan before him, and turner before that, but i dont mind.
