I mean yeah frick Jared Cook

But it’s like the office ending, I knew it was done and it was time to end, still sad to see it go. This run is officially over. The other playoffs losses you could tell yourself it’ll be fine, the core is back next year and we’ll make another run. This time it’s truly over.

Like I fully fear that, considering our cap situation, as soon as Drew officially announces his retirement that Loomis goes into full rebuild mode

this team gets stripped bare and we're left with a 5-12 team (considering the 17-game schedule is supposed to start next season) for the next 3-4 seasons as we try to do it all from the ground up again

Not gona lie...im not going to miss having to take our QB out for deep passes or on 3rd downs.

I appreciate everything Brees has done but am kind of looking forward to what this team looks like next year.

Yeah, and it's definitely over since you're going to have not just Brees but a big roster turnover thanks to salary cap and contracts ending.

We had a good run but I feel like it was just never in the cards. Like the early 90s Bills. I guess it’s time to just trade off some of these aging vets and big contracts and begin a new era.

We will all be back here again next season, week 1, ready to go again. It’s a long cycle, but fun

It’s sad, but those last playoff losses told you what to expect this year. Time to move the franchise forward and hope the next QB can win a SB.

Every NFL organization faces this reality. It’s a cycle you have to endure. We had a 15 year run. aRod has only won one SB. If the Saints organization can remain stable and keep CSP around we could see another window return in about four years. The draft will be important but I expect with salary cap issues we will be treading water for a few years.

Why get mad bro...it's just a game and the NFL has set agendas. It's entertainment

I think it's not as bad because most could tell by game 2 that this was going to be the end of an era.

At least that's what I'm telling myself.

As a great man once said "It's better to let a star go a year or two in his prime, instead of keeping him a year or 2 too long."

Our franchise is a testament to how long you can wander until finding a franchise QB, much less an all time great. Current state of Brees has clouded people’s vision of how good we’ve had it. We could be irrelevant for a long time waiting on the next
