If that’s the case, wouldn’t mind cleaning out offensive staff.

There’s been clues. Allen is not at all a terrible option. It keeps the organization together. That’s what leads to winning.

If it doesn’t work out, then you were going to need to blow things up anyways, so you don’t have much to lose.

I’m fine with keeping DA and the defensive staff together, but there may need to be an overhaul on offense and bringing in someone with a different philosophy may help. I just don’t foresee Pete being that guy.

You keep da to keep the staff in place.

I do hope they bring in a younger offensive mind to mold with carmichael.

The offensive regression under Payton was mainly a personnel issue. I don’t think anyone thinks he couldn’t call plays anymore. Injuries and misses at lower round receivers compounded the issue. They certainly tried to address things.

It just depends on what they want to do. It still feels like we have the talent to somewhat compete. Similar to this year. Allen is the best option if thats what we want to do.

Have no idea how free agency shakes out and who we even keep.

In a way, im kind of excited because the unpredictability of FA and the draft.

Carmichael is splinter and Brady is one of the baby ninja turtles

Some folks need to do a refresher on Carmichael. Start by looking up what guys like Joe Brady, Brees, Payton, Lombardi say about him and how’s much credit he deserves for the offensive teams we put together

And your plan is to hire the guy that learned his “offense” from Carmichael and Payton in the first place?

Yeah, promote DA and Neilson, bring in a DL replacement, and roll with it.

Like a previous poster said, if it doesn’t work, you will have to blow it up anyway. May as well give it a go.

It sucks. We are basically a competent QB and injuries away. Our D is so damn good that if we can field an offense that scores 24 a game, we win a hell of a lot more than we lose and would be a SB favorite.
