I know The Onion does parodies but won't they get in big trouble for posting something true like that?

I don't even think you can compare the Jimmy Graham trade to the Sam Bradford Trade.

We shed salary, and got a pro bowl caliber Center = a first round pick.

The eagles sent a better cheaper Qb that fit their system, AND better draft picks, for a QB that doesn't fit their system and has played a game since 2013, and has had 4 season ending injuries.

Well, the Seahawks are better after getting Graham. The Saints have the opportunity to be better. I'm hopeful.

The Saints have made some great free agent signings with boom or bust potential. All four players aquired have injury histories but all are some of the best at their positions when healthy.

Unger - legit all-pro with injury issues
Browner - strong, physical corner with off-field issues
Spiller - dazzling playmaker with injury issues
Ellerbe - injury issues but was great with the Ravens

If these four can stay reasonably heathy, we have greatly improved this team.

A lot of gurus picked the Saints as Super Bowl contenders last year, so......

Browner wasn't off field issues. It was PEDs which directly ties into on the field play. I think he knows what to and not to do with that.

I remember a couple of seasons ago them crowning the Eagles "the Dream Team" and super bowl champs after the offseason moves they made.

I believe that was the year they went 4-12 and got rid of Andy Reid. If not that year, it was the year after.

Yeah ESPN is all over that Seattle jock, but to be fair, if it wasn't for Pete Carroll going full retard on the goalline, they would be defending back to back champs.

Thats why I dont watch ESPN anymore. They dont know shite. They only have opinions, and not informed opinions at that. That and the main reason is they are just a propaganda machine for Roger Goodell. Ever since 2012 which I wont even refer to it as "Bountygate" because they made that up too. They trumped up everything the league told them and therefore they can all go screw themselves.

I feel like you are reading my mind.

That is exactly how I am. I have not watched ESPN since Alabama/LSU on 1/9 and BountyGate with the Saints. It was all so ridiculous, from lobbying to get Bama in the game to going nuts over the Saints' "bounty" system. Every bit of it was garbage and I realized that I get dumber when I watch that network.

And, I do not care about the Jets or Eagles or whatever other large market team that they are shoving down my throat.

I only watch game broadcasts on ESPN now, and I am fine with it.

I prefer NFLN's coverage. I like their analysis more often. Especially when they break down film during the season.
