We had season tickets throughout the 90's and I went to countless Saints game where got our arse kicked. We were terrible. From the later Mora years to Ditka, I cant believe we are what we are currently.

I would go to games where both QBs were named Billy Joe and hoping we would just make it competitive.

Its mind blowing we have one of the GOAT that wore the Black and Gold and won us a fricking Super Bowl.

I thought I would die and not see us win a Super Bowl.

Enjoy and savor this ride boys, its unreal we are where we are.

I’m 28 and my Dad will want to fight me if I ever complain about a Saints or LSU team lol. I started becoming a fan in the late 90’s so my childhood was filled with bad years for both but the older generation has lived through some shite. This has been incredible!

was born in 82, been watching games since I was born. Parents and family had season tickets from the first game all the way through the 90's, they have seen some shite.

My Dad almost had a heart attack when they won it all in 2009, dude was balling like a baby.

I cannot believe we have it how we currently have it.

Never take it for granted.

I watched the game with my dad and parrain. One of the craziest things about it was they hardly talked the entire game, both just completely immersed in the moment. When Tracy picked off Manning they had the same reaction, both throw their arms up in the air and looked at each other, said no words, tears welling up. It wasn’t until I slapped their raised hands did they start yelling out some hodge podge string of profanities and excited cheers of Who Dat, super bowl champs and the like.

I remember Danny Wuerffel getting sacked then standing up with his helmet on backwards. One of my most embarrassing moments as a saints fan.

But I would still get pissed at the idiots that showed up with bags on their heads.

I was at a best friends Superbowl party. About 6 really close friends and their wives. I was the only single one. When the clock hit zero I kinda just went to the floor in a drunken crying mess. I hear one of the wives ask "why is Choctaw crying?". Her husband said "sweetheart you'll never understand."

Born in ‘77 here and have watched the Saints since I can remember. Can still hear my grandfather, who has since passed, yelling extreme explicits at Deon Sanders everytime he did anything while playing for the Falcons. I was like, paw paw really hates this man

Same boat here...... and although we sucked all those years the fans still showed up and made noise. I remember going to games when Bum was the coach then Mora and Ditka. Games were competitive with Mora, we still had fun with the others. Right now its awesome!

What are they currently, you didn't say.

What the Saints currently are, is unstoppable, clearly unstoppable, you punt twice to the Saints, and it's game over!

I remember my grandpa would always say "the Saints will never win nothing."
To think he may still be around when they win their second super bowl.

It is truly still surreal to see the Saints in the playoffs, much less leading the league or winning that SB.

I watched a lot of terrible Archie-led Saints teams with my grandfather. I remember the sheer excitement of the Saints going into the 1980 season after the 7-9 and 8-8 campaigns the previous 2 years. (1979 was the first non-losing season in franchise history.) End result of 1980 was Aints bags and worst season ever.

I'm glad my grandad got to see a second LSU title before he died, but wish he could have made it to see the Saints SB with me. He died in the Katrina season.

I was lucky enough to be in the stands for SB 44 and teared up as Tracy Porter ran towards the end zone.

I'm 24, and can remember crying in front of the TV as a child after losses, all while my dad cussed and ranted at the TV, proclaiming he'd never watch again, until next Sunday.

I can also remember my recently late Grandfather throwing his Bud Light bottle through the living room TV Screen as Tracy Porter sprinted into the end zone and winning the Super Bowl.

It's every bit of amazing where this team has gone even in my short lifetime. Let's enjoy the ride, and beat the breaks off of the Birds tonight.
