The free agent class is awful
They need to hit on the extra picks this season in draft and hopefully loomis isn’t dumb enough to trade up like he always does by messing up next years draft picks

This is the year to not kick the can but to absorb as much money to get off the books as possible even if that means starting UDFA rookies or vet minimum players in several spots I was to have the top pick next year but at least top 5. Next year needs to be the year we draft our QB of the future, whoever that is.

It needs to be done asap, but not sure that Loomis has the balls to do so

I’d be shocked if Arch comes out as a redshirt sophomore with one year of starting in college. He doesn’t need the money so I’d bet he stays for one more year and comes out in 2027. Nussmeier could very well be the #1 QB in next year’s class. I also think Arch’s family wouldn’t want him playing under such shite management as the Saints have. They forced one Manning out of who wanted to draft him, I won’t be shocked if they did it again.

What?! We are last though. We needed a sell off but had nothing to sell sell… that’s how bad we are. The coaching is only as good as the players. So a new coach will only take us so far. And Carr is not the answer. Even if he was; who would he throw to? We don’t have a top 25 wr.

Correct, even if we’re in a position to draft Arch he’ll force a trade or sit out a year and go back in the draft.

It’s never good to not have cap space unless your team is built to compete for a championship so, that’s a silly arse statement. But, you’re right, this free agent class isn’t very good.
