It's a fricking shame Brees doesn't have a MVP. Screw five head.

Was reading an article earlier about the qbs that have left the NFC South over the last two years.
Two MVP's in Ryan and Newton, future HOF Brees.
frick all of those haters.
Brees should have won one or two in his career.

Brees should have been the MVP for our SuperBowl season.
They gave it to Payton Manning I believe.

I agree. Not sure why they hated on him so much when it came to the MVP race. Brees led the NFL in passing yards in seven different seasons and had the most touchdown passes four times. His 67.7 career completion percentage is one of the best of all time. He won the Offensive Player of the Year award twice and was also a Super Bowl MVP but never a regular season NFL MVP

Well I wouldn't trade the Saints SB win for anything.
I mean Brees finished the job when he got his opportunity.
Meanwhile Cam Newton was completely ineffective in his SB appearance.
Matt Ryan took part in one of the biggest and most pathetic collapses of all-time in his appearnace.
they can keep those MVP's.
They both failed tremendously on the biggest stage where it mattered most.

Brees had better numbers and beat Manning in the superbowl in '09. I know its a regular season award but Brees was better.
I'm sure he rather the Superbowl MVP, but he should have had both.
