Nope. Golf had no control over his arm. The movement was involuntarily due to Young grabbing him. Second worst call I’ve ever seen & I hope the refs get dysentery.

Roger Goodells' curse vs. the Saints just goes on and on...the refs have now instutionalized it !

How come it wasn’t intentional grounded

The pass was backwards, if it was even a pass at all. Total horseshite.

So if he INTENDS to throw a pass in the flat behind the line of scrimmage is it considered a lateral or a forward pass?… that “pass” landed behind the line of scrimmage BEHIND the QB so shouldn’t that have been a FUMBLE… frick THE NFL…

I really think that the NFL is a lot like professional wrestling; fake!

Agreed.
It’s a circular argument. If it’s a pass, and he intended to throw forward but it goes backward, it’s a fumble or a backward pass.
See the Aaron Brooks backward pass. Intended forward pass that went backward. Live ball fumble recovered by Deuce McAllister.

So now it's the intent to throw. Well hell, shrite fire. The next time our QB throws an interception, we'll challenge on the base Shough intended to throw a complete pass...If it's all based on intent.

the intent to throe started before the ball left his hand
The intent was not to throw a backwards pass but he did so it's a backwards pass you fricking pussy.

While many on here disagree, the intent to throe started before the ball left his hand. The backwards throw is irrelevant at that point
“Your Honor, my clients intent was not to hit the victim with the knife….the stoppage of arm motion stopped before the victim’s jugular was knicked by the blade…. Therefore, the death is irrelevant “
