Does not know the rulebook

If you arm is moving forward but you are throwing a backward pass it’s a backward pass which is a live ball.

Nope. Golf had no control over his arm. The movement was involuntarily due to Young grabbing him. Second worst call I’ve ever seen & I hope the refs get dysentery.

The pass was backwards, if it was even a pass at all. Total horseshite.

So if he INTENDS to throw a pass in the flat behind the line of scrimmage is it considered a lateral or a forward pass?… that “pass” landed behind the line of scrimmage BEHIND the QB so shouldn’t that have been a FUMBLE… frick THE NFL…

Agreed.
It’s a circular argument. If it’s a pass, and he intended to throw forward but it goes backward, it’s a fumble or a backward pass.

See the Aaron Brooks backward pass. Intended forward pass that went backward. Live ball fumble recovered by Deuce McAllister.

So now it's the intent to throw. Well hell, shrite fire. The next time our QB throws an interception, we'll challenge on the base Shough intended to throw a complete pass...If it's all based on intent.

While many on here disagree, the intent to throe started before the ball left his hand. The backwards throw is irrelevant at that point
