Can't hit him while ball is in the air. Ball was in the air. They missed it.

yes, that is why they said it was the rule

they arent bobby hebert making shite up talking drunk

key is, on QB rollout, its only PI if he gets hit while the ball is in the air

another thing to consider is you can block anyone at any time within 3 yards of LOS so that was something very close to being able to apply as well

Hitting an eligible receiver prior to the ball being thrown (outside the initial 5 yard "chuck-eligible" area) would be illegal contact... 5 yards & auto 1st

It was easy pass interference. Very similar to the Nola no call.

Refs just refused to throw the flag, and it was obvious.

Two totally different calls.

The nola no call was one of the most blatant fouls of all time.

The one today was the correct call.

I’m talking about the Kamara one where he got nailed in the back before the ball even got to him. How was that the right call? The ball was in the air and he got laid out before the ball reached him. Easy pass interference.

The referee that’s watching the receiver also saw the ball in the quarterback’s hand.
