He's a freakin joke. Wish Benson would give a damn about winning and fire this jack arse. Better yet get rid of Benson and Payton and get some guys in that want to win.

Payton'n not a gimmick. He's a virus.
A running game will get him well. He needs to give it to Pierre 20 times for the last 4 games and he is healed.

If his offense is gimmick, then no one has caught on, we're still top 5 offense year in and out, just need to fix the D.

The saints can win games with him as HC but will not go far in playoffs because he refuses to commit to the run when you need to shorten the game.Still from a season tixholder viewpoint A FUN TEAM TO WATCH...............

That is an asinine statement.
A lot of things can be said of Benson, but not wanting to win isn't one of them.
The Saints have always spent the money on players that the FO wanted. If you want to blame anyone for the lack of success, blame the folks making these chickenshit decisions on players (for example: Meachem, Grant, Smith, Bullock, Jason David Henderson...etc.).
As for coaching, wasn't Payton the hottest thing in NFL when Benson offered him the head coaching gig?
I guess Benson is to blame that he isn't clairvoyant, or that he doesn't make coaching changes every 3 years...that's worked out real well for Al Davis!

I didn't realize the stat they said at the end of the game yesterday, but he is now 0-17 when trailing when the 4th quarter starts... that pretty much shows how bad of a coach he is. You would think that out of 17 times the dude would at least get lucky and win at LEAST one, but the fact is he calls the stupidest, most conservative plays. Remember the play that lost us one of the bucs games last years after we had it in the bag? Yea that's our HC.
