Is Jimmy Graham a top 5 player in the NFL?

I listen to the Dave Dameshek Football Podcast(NFL.com), and they took fan questions today. One of them asked about the top 100 that the NFL network does every year, and they decided to do a quick top 5.
The host's top 5
1. Rodgers
2. Brady
3. Graham
4. Megatron
5. Watt
The other guy(Elliot Harrison)'s top 5
1. Brady
2. Megatron
3. Watt
4. Manning
5. Brees
This is interesting to me. We are all aware that Jimmy didn't crack the list last year somehow, but obvious he will be on it this year, probably near the top.
But TOP 5? Number 3 even. I'm just not sure. He is a great player and probably the best TE in the NFL, and if he plays for another 6-8 seasons he'll probably be the best ever, but I just can't justify him as a top 5 player in the league.....
Anyways, I wanted some fresh discussion that isn't all FA/Draft talk. So my question is: is Graham a top 5 player? If so, who is above him? If NOT, where does he fall for you?

he's not even the best player on the team.
Putting megatron behind graham is about as ridiculous as it gets. The guy beats triple teams; graham can't beat press coverage from a single good cb.

Calvin Johnson
Adrian Peterson
Drew Brees
Peyton Manning
Aaron Rodgers
And that's just offensive players I thought of in 0.0004 seconds

The top 4 players in the league have to be the top 4 QBs. After that you can add Megatron and AD. THEN after that you could MAYBE start adding defensive players.

bullshite.
4 most valuable players? Sure.
But if you're speaking about pure playmaking ability, don't see how you can leave off the guy who broke Jerry Rice's record or the guy who came within inches of Erik Dickerson.

Absolutely correct. I have great admiration for a RB who is the only weapon on a team; everybody knows it and they still can't stop him. Those types of guys come around once in a generation. Peterson is certainly a Top 5 RB of all time...period.
As for Graham, I'd put him in the Top 50. If he was on another team without Brees making the throws and Payton calling the plays, he would never break the 100.

Remember that time he didn't make the NFL Top 100 and went on to score 16 touchdowns?

no not at all by any stretch of the imagination.

These two don't seem to go together

But no...not top 5.
He is however a great weapon.

or the 3-4DE that may have put up the single most dominant defensive performance in history.
81 tackles (69 solo)
23 STF
20.5 Sacks
4 FF
16 PDs

Well, they don't have to be mutually exclusive. Being the best ever as a TE doesn't mean you have to be a top 5 player in the league at any given point. TE isn't a position that has an excessive amount of talent and HOFers like QB, WR, RB, etc

That is more of what I meant but those guys beating those records don't mean much.
Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady all have WAYYY more records than megatron or AD combined.
