Is it just me or have we had plenty of minority coaches in the NFL over the last few years

At what point does it become enough? What is the end game?

Do we have to have a minority number of white coaches before everything is right in the eyes of progressives?

yes they have, and they have mostly, but not all, been bad coaches who were only advanced through racial quota BS rather then being good at their jobs.

when they stop forcing racial quotas, then, and only then, will black coaches be viewed equally and succeed equally with all others.

when you only have a job because of your skin color then its not because you are good at your job or any incentive to be better at your job

When 14% of the US population has 100% of the jobs, and only then, will it be enough.

There’s a large portion of this board who isn’t going to want to hear this, but….

None of the black coaches have been really worth a shite

About 95% of the rehired white coaches haven't been worth a shite either, especially on their 1st gig... but there they are getting hired over and over again, if not for a HC position, they're getting a coordinator job they don't deserve, only because they're friends with the headcoach, or "they come off a tree" (How y'all refuse to acknowledge the nepotism, and complain about The Rooney Rule, is beyond me). Y'all need to be honest absolutely NONE of the hiring process is done with any type of integrity, in other words the best man rarely gets the job, it always has been the buddy system (who you know, or who you've worked for). When they get rid of that foolishness, then you'll have no reason to interview a guy because of the color of his skin.

This mfer spitting. The fact that this dumb arse question is being asked is hilarious. I said it in another thread half these posters personalize this shite way too much and need therapy.

No one will be able to give a fact based rebuttal to your response. It'll either be ignored or laced with a opinion based bs response.

Wake up! This is 2022!
Qualifications mean ZERO in today's business climate. Skin color is all that matters.

Most players in NFL are black. Where are white players? Do they need a rule for player pigmentation? Such lunacy.

Let me ask you a question....if 95% of the head coaches in the NHL were black you wouldn't think something is off???

Black people make up 13% of the population so yeah, that would be way over represented.

But what does that matter....if all the owners feel they interviewed well and best for the job...

Statistically that doesn’t work out for ya bub. You think you’re making a point but there is a huge logic flaw in your argument

Such a fricking stupid thing to say

Do you know what goes on behind closed doors? Do you know how the interviews go? Do you know what qualifications FO’s are looking for when hiring?

NO. You don’t. You just regurgitate some anti-white BS that may or may not apply to this situation and think you’ve proven some kind of point.

You haven’t

Owners don’t hire ‘friends’ to run their teams. They are in the business to make money, and this doesn’t get the job done… but sure… blame white people for this shite. You motherfrickers are never happy

Every single fricking thing he said was an OPINION. There were zero facts involved.

The sense of tribalism amongst black people is admirable. It doesn’t matter who says what, or what happens, you guys have each other’s backs no matter what…..

Unless we are talking about violence in the streets. Completely different ballgame there I guess … somehow or another, that’s probably whiteys fault too

Which is what gives the talking heads all of the fuel they need to keep that fire burning. When teams are constantly rotating out shitty white coaches, the people paid off of clicks get their "validation"

quote:

they're getting a coordinator job they don't deserve, only because they're friends with the headcoach, or "they come off a tree"

This is the bigger issue here, but at the same time the only way teams will consider someone new for a HC because they have shown success as the coordinator under a successful HC. It was discussed on another board, but it's hard to have a much larger percentage of the HCs as minorities when the entry level positions are being dominated by white coaches. If anyone really wanted to fix the problem, this is where you start. You can't walk into a corporation and demand to be the CEO if you don't have any managerial experience. And, you can't get the managerial experience if you don't start in the grunt work positions.

You can if you’re black though..

If you’re black you always have that ace up your sleeve. If things don’t go your way you can ALWAYS cry racism and the blind masses on Twitter will take your case and run with it, facts be damned

Y’all can get as mad as you want to about me saying this, but it’s absolutely true.

Y'all so dramatic... Name one Black CEO that was hired to a major cooperation, because black folks got mad on twitter.
