No matter your thoughts on the matter, at the end of the day Cam is using his influence to actually help try to better his community versus being a show cause. That, I have a very high level of respect for.

Cam is actually doing something besides virtue signaling like the kneeling fools. I respect him for that.

I suppose. I'd have to see what the class consists of to be sure though. If the class is basically you're the ones in the wrong, then I'm not sure... it could just keep alienating the police

You're doing God's work spreading this advice on this message board, Chad. Don't let them tell you any different.

Can anyone tell me how many deaths we've had in New Orleans parish over the past 10 years of systemic racists cops killing black citizens? I mean, of all the causes to devote your hard earned monies to Cam, is it really going to the best cause to really help the community? Is "ANTI-RACIST training of police officers" even a top 10 issue for the community? Is that really what's going to save lives/better the real community Cam?

Show me where there is a law that says an officer can use excessive force against someone because they were disrespectful. After that I'd like to see the law that says disrespect for authority is a crime.

That is a terrible way to approach interactions with a police officer. Just flat out terrible yet you think a police officer who deals with jaywalkers, speeders, liars, thieves, drug addicts, drug dealers, wife beaters, child abusers, prostitutes, rapists, murderers everyday should respect you? Funny thing is they usually do 99.9% of the time and that is truly amazing to me. Personally I’m glad there are some out there that have a calling to do that job because I sure don’t. It’s not worth it. Not in today’s society. Not when there are people that have the mindset you have. Every interaction I’ve ever had with law enforcement I’ve been respectful, courteous, and have always complied with their commands. Guess what? I’m still alive. So would a lot of others if they wold have only complied or better yet not been up to no good.
