I would be crazy happy if the owners locked out the players for the entire season. The NBA too. You just cannot expect the fans to boycott because we love our gladiators. The owners, the billionaires that they are could easily put an end to this bullsh-t. Lock the players out. It would be beautiful !! Just give me our beloved Bayou Bengals and I am fine.

The owners are billionaires, and the players are millionaires. The owners can afford to take a year or two off. Don't be confused who runs the NFL, or the NBA. The owners do, and never forget it. Just because the owners continue to give and give to the players it seems like they players run the league. That is completely not true. The owners could put an end to all of this bullsh-t by locking the players out. It only takes a large padlock and chain. If a player kneels, suspended him. Do it again, and you are released. Simple. I wish it would happen, but we all know it won't. The owners enjoy these gladiators just as much as the profit that they don't need. I just wish they would. I can live without pro football, and pro basketball. I would have a difficult time without LSU football.

You asked how can this be done? When the players collective bargaining contract expires. I don't when that happens, but each time this is when owners and the players union negotiates their new contract. That's when owners can show their power. The commissioner can set rules about kneeling down right now. He can put and end to all of this tomorrow.
