They aren't throwing to Brees unless the defense makes a huge mistake and doesn't put somebody on him. Simple as that. There is no position in the game where it makes sense. Our offense is too dynamic to waste a play on that.

I'm with you. I think its gonna happen. Defenses aren't even covering Brees... Rightfully so. Why cover the 40 year old star QB? The Saints aren't going to risk him taking a hit.
But I think they're setting it up for the right spot. Maybe near the goal line where you minimize the chances of Brees taking a hit after the catch. You've got to put a lot of trust in Hill though to read coverage and make sure he doesn't get Brees killed.
I see something like Taysom taking the snap, faking a run to the opposite side of Brees to draw down the defense away from Brees and boom, Brees shocks everyone and walks in all alone for a TD.

You would have to out Brees out there all alone. The flow of that play has to go to the wide side of the field. Every route except his has to go to the wide side. If the spot is in the middle, too risky. If you don’t sell field call, the the DB’s will not bite and leave him alone. Even then, no guarantees the CB doesn’t stay home.

Imagine this. Taysom overthrows brees in the endzone.
Brees makes a crazy one handed diving catch to win the game. Would be so epic.

Put Brees in the slot 5 yds behind the line of scrimmage. Hill in the shotgun. Send all of the receivers on pass routes to Breeses side. Hill passes it to Brees. Brees looks to his side of the field, and as the defense flows to that side, Hill releases down the sidelines on the other side and Brees hits for a TD.
