Carolina upsets the Bucs, Saints blow a last minute lead and lose on a Yunghoe Koo 53 yard field goal.

The Falcons look real, real bad lately. They might currently be worse than the Panthers

Maybe. But we've got Dennis Allen on our side.

A Very Saints ending, to be sure.
2002 season comes to mind. Beat some good teams. Needed to beat 6-9 Panthers in the Dome to make pkayoffs. Didn’t. Then that same day, I think Browns actually needed to lose to the Falcons for some reason although I can’t remember why. But they won.
ETA: or maybe Browns needed to beat falcons and they did but our loss is what blew it. That would make more sense. For wild card.

2002 we had to win one of our last 3 against bad teams. Including the 1-13 Bengals.

That was awesome.
Then fast forward a year to the River City Relay.

nope, carolina will sit every starter if need be.
carolina is not giving up the 1st pick in the draft to beat tampa just to help us win the division.
thats never gonna happen, even if they have to walk off the field and forfeit so they dont win.

1. They already locked in the top spot
2. They don’t have a pick
You fricking idiot

Not with Bryce at least. Dalton has a small chance to pull a game out of his arse
Posted on 12/31/23 at 4:36 pm to Lsuhoohoo
This could very realistically happen
Posted on 12/31/23 at 4:47 pm to Lsuhoohoo
I think it will be a 60 yarder like Zurlein

I love having our fate in the hands of the worst team in the NFL

So many winnable moments over the past few months all come to bite us in the arse next week
